Alex Sepehri-Nik, Esq.
Co-Founder

Alex was Co-founder and President of Arqueiro from founding until October 2016. Prior to Arqueiro, Alex served as President of Brazil Tower Company (“BTC”). At BTC he served in a very similar role – starting the company from inception, seeing it through three rounds of equity financing, establishing customer (carrier) contracts, supplier contracts, and recruiting the original team. Under Alex’s guidance, BTC has grown from an idea to today having raised over $100 million in equity financing and having over 1000 cell towers producing revenues throughout Brazil. Today, Alex remains on the Board of Advisors of BTC.
Prior to BTC, Alex served as Director of Operations, Brazil & General Counsel for Nexius Solutions, Inc. Nexius is a privately funded company that provides engineering services to cellular carriers worldwide as they deploy their networks. Prior to Nexius, Alex served as General Counsel to Amber Networks. At Amber, his team developed advanced carrier-class IP/Optical edge networking systems. The company was backed by Tier-1 Silicon Valley venture firms (e.g. Accel Partners, Pequot Ventures, Infinity, Invesco, etc.) and was sold to Nokia in 2001 for $421 million USD. Alex was also General Counsel to Telephia (another start-up backed by Tier-1 VC firms such as AEA, Oak Hill, & Centennial). Alex helped to build the business that was later sold to The Nielsen Company for $440 million USD. Alex began his career in Brazil by working with Mobile Science, the leading provider of competitive network benchmarking for the Brazilian wireless carriers.
Alex holds a J.D. from the University of Miami, School of Law (cum laude) and a B.A. from the University of Utah.
